GIVE THANKS … GET MORE DONE!

Giving thanks to God Our Father gets more benefits delivered in our lives beyond singing, humming, dancing and all the paraphernalia of our celebrations.

#1. Giving Thanks … INCREASES YOU!

As God deceives our thanksgiving, He releases our held-back blessings

– Psalm 67:5-7 NKJV

“Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.

[6] Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.

[7] God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.”

#2. Giving Thanks … HEALS YOU!

The worst extent of diminished health is death. Jesus proved that a deep-seated appreciation of the Father’s supernatural abilities can turn around heath and ultimately death. To raise Lazarus back to life, the Master simply gave thanks!

– John 11:41-42 NKJV

[41] Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

[42] And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”

#3. Giving Thanks … STABILIZES YOU!

The supernatural act fortifies your mind against worries, protecting your emotions from deepening on the negative. While Jesus was confronted with a great emotional pressure, being ready to be crucified, He dowsed the tension, switched emotions and spread confidence to those around Him by giving thanks in the face of death!

– Matthew 26:27 NKJV

“Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.”

While you are still expecting God to fulfill His entire promise in your life, giving thanks empowers you half way through your journey, drawing the comfort and encouragement to make it to the end. Then you can enjoy the Ebenezer dimension of God … the God that takes you FAR and helps you FINISH your race

– 1 Samuel 7:12 NKJV

[12] Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
